Project about south american dictatorships
When I remember the photographer Joao Pina the word tenacity comes to my mind. Moved by his own interest he started several years ago to document the detention centers and victims of south american dictatorships. The life carried him again to Europe but he want to come back to make the photos that will complete his work. I think that his photographs explain better than my words. Cuando me acuerdo del fotógrafo Joao Pina la palabra tenacidad viene a mi mente. Movido por su propio interés empezó hace ya varios años a documentar los centros de detención y las víctimas de las dictaduras sudamericanas. La vida lo llevó otra vez a Europa pero él quiere volver para hacer las fotos que completarán su trabajo. Creo que sus fotografías lo explican mejor que mis palabras.
